Earthquake funding recommended
Two earthquake-damaged historic buildings are closer to receiving funding for their restoration.
The community, recreation and culture committee yesterday recommended the city council grant $1.7 million to the Christchurch Club near Latimer Square and $1 million to the former Trinity Church on the corner of Worcester St and Manchester St.
