Man run over by forklift in Christchurch
A man is dead after being run over by a forklift in Christchurch this morning.
The accident happened at 5.41am today at a workplace on Annex Rd.
The forklift was being operated by a driver at the time of the incident, detective sergeant Chris Power told Fairfax.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment are investigating and an autopsy is expected to be performed tomorrow.
