A knife-wielding robber got away with nothing after he attempted to hold up the Woodham Rd Dairy in Dallington on Monday.

Detective Sergeant Joel Syme said the man entered the dairy at 8.30pm and pointed a knife with a 12cm blade and demanded cash from the person behind the counter.

The man was dressed in black clothing, his face was covered with a black and white bandanna and he was wearing a pair of sunglasses. Detective Sergeant Syme said the offender is of solid build and about 1.8m tall.
