War memorial hit again
New Brighton's war memorial has been hit by vandals again.
More graffiti has appeared on the cenotaph on Marine Parade, after a spray attack in December outraged residents, returned servicemen and police.
The December attack was cleaned off and residents are again upset by the latest incident.
Police were unable to comment yesterday, but confirmed no one had been caught or identified for the December attack.
Police are holding a public meeting in New Brighton on Wednesday to discuss crime, disorder and vandalism in the suburb.
It is being held at the Roy Stokes Hall, Seaview Rd, from 5.30-7.30pm.
